What would a life devoted to loving others as Christ has loved us look like? What would it look like to die to self every day, presenting our lives as living sacrifices to our Father (Yahweh)? I believe learning another language and culture to love and make disciples of other nations is one way in which we can do this. In my journey, there have been the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. There have been laughs, tears, and screams of frustration. However, through it all, even in the times I didn’t realize it was there, there has been the ceaseless love of Christ, strengthening me, encouraging me, and pouring rivers of peace into my soul in times where I felt I couldn’t go on. I have, and never will be alone. “Santo, santo, santo es el Señor Dios Todopoderoso, el que era y que es y que ha de venir” (Apocalipsis 4:8). Amen.
